An authorization code is a dedicated password used for third-party email client login, replacing traditional email passwords. To protect your account security, QQ Mail and 163 Mail require the use of authorization codes for SMTP/IMAP login instead of directly using your email password.
Important Note::Authorization codes are different from login passwords, please do not confuse them. Once an authorization code is generated, please keep it safe and do not disclose it to others.
Open your browser and visit account.apple.com/sign-in and log in with your Apple ID. account.apple.com/sign-in
After logging in, click the avatar in the upper right corner, select "Account Settings", then select "Security" in the left menu.
On the security page, scroll down to find the "App-Specific Password" or "Application-Specific Password" section and click "Generate Password".
In the pop-up window, enter a label name for this app-specific password, such as "Mail Client" or "Third-Party App", then click "Next".
The system will generate an app-specific password, please copy and save this password immediately. This password is the authorization code you use in third-party mail clients.
Important:iCloud's app-specific passwords are only displayed once when generated, please be sure to save them properly. Each app or device requires a separate app-specific password.
